Due to the continuing success and growth in Scotland TTT are proud to announce a new larger permanant office in Dalkeith, with it we welcome our new manager for Scotland Mr Alan Morton - please see our contacts page for Alan`s details. The office is officially open from November 2nd and all enquiries for Scotland can be directed there for Alans attention
Thermal Expansion
Our thermal cover manufacturing divison have expanded to accomodate several local authority`s current schemes for energy saving within aged persons homes.

Health & Safety
Tyne Tees Thermal Ltd has always recognised the importance of Health & Safety in the workplace. Before attending any site, every employee must have or be working towards the following as a minimum:
- A CSCS card.
- Manual Handling certificate.
- PASMA certificate.
- Asbestos awareness certificate.
- First aid certificate.
- IPAF certificate.
- An understanding of Risk Assessments & Method Statements.
We have invested a significant amount of time, money and dedication into our health and safety, which helps give us a proactive and comprehensive plan for now and the future. As a company we reap the benefits by having a very low accident rate, and a content workforce that knows their company works hard to protect their safety.

Tyne Tees Thermal Limited recognises the need for sustainable development and continually aims to improve the environmental effect of its activities, to achieve this we will: -

Risk Assessment Inductions
As you know TTT have enlisted the services of queens award winning Citation, through their systems we have a new innovative risk assessment format that is both easy to understand and comprehensibly descriptive, as we are now introducing it to our clients & employees, all staff will receive training on how to use, read & prepare a document.
Safeblades
From the 1st June Tyne Tees Thermal Limited are introducing “Safeblades” to all site based employees. The knife and locking case is purpose made for the thermal insulation industry, TTT are trying to eliminate any possible risks from tools falling from height and cuts associated with the storing of blades.

IIF Course
Alan Morton Scotland Manager has just completed and passed a 3 day IIF course with Laing Orourke @ eurocentral to qualify him for train the trainer, Alan will now encompass this into every operatives training matrix.
Alan has also completed a 4 Day IOSH managers course In September 2009.
CHT Training
Mark Wilson has attended a one day CHT training course at Eurocentral concentrating on safety issues directly affecting site staff, this is designed for site operatives to experience how issues on site can be directed back to management , actioned and implemented back on site in a short timescale.
IOSH Courses
Four of our large contract supervisors have completed their IOSH courses recently. The course is specific to supervisors, this highlights their expected requirements and duties when managing operatives on a site.
First Aid
TTT are continuing to run monthly First Aid at Work appointed person courses for the entire company, the course is a comprehensive one and covers 23 topics
ROSPA
TTT have once again renewed our annual membership with world renowned ROSPA, in addition to this TTT are now also members of Chas.
Communication Drive
As part of our continued drive towards good communication and understanding within health and safety our senior managers have gone back to work on site, Chris Morton, Nick Hunter & Paul Knox have been back on the tools recently to assess how our practices and safe systems are working for our employees.
Between our managers we have 112 years experience within the industry from school leavers into apprenticeships to Directors. We have a great rapport with employees as we operate as a team built on fairness and open communication, by working alongside our employees we can judge first hand what works and how we can possibly improve systems further.
Citation Consultants
TTT Ltd have enlisted the expertese of Citation Consultants to further develop our already competent systems within Health & Safety and contracts of employment (HR).
